The Braden River High girls soccer team fell to Palmetto 2-1 in its Class 4A- District 10 opener Nov. 10.
The Lady Pirates tied the game in the second half when Taryn Gillette scored off an assist from Rachael Tally. Goal keeper Amber McCullock had seven saves.
Braden River returns to district action at 6 p.m., Nov. 17 versus Bayshore.
