The Lakewood Ranch High physical education department is looking for donations of sports-related equipment.
Anyone with used golf, baseball, soccer, softball, tennis or lacrosse, among other sports-related equipment, that would like to donate to the school can do so by contacting Dave Moates at 727-6100 ext. 2168 or dropping items off directly at the school, 5500 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.
Donation letters also will be provided if needed.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
