The Braden River High girls soccer team kicked off its 2009 season with a 1-0 victory over Cardinal Mooney Nov. 3.
Jessica Price scored the Lady Pirates lone goal off an assist from Rachael Tally in the 78th minute. Goal keeper Amber McCullock had seven saves in the shutout.
Braden River returns to action Nov. 10 at Palmetto where the Lady Pirates will open their district season.
