The East Manatee Bulldogs Mitey Mite team improved to 9-0 with a 14-0 victory over the Hardee Wildcats Oct. 20.
Josiah Lozada had a touchdown and Kevin Miller scored a touchdown and kicked a two-point conversion.
Miller also recovered a fumble to help lead the way defensively. Luke Labriola also recovered a fumble and Trevor Jackson had an interception.
The Bulldogs return to action Oct. 27 versus the Palm Harbor Panthers in the Don Clark Bowl to determine the conference champion.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
