After trailing by a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter, the Lakewood Ranch High football team scored 33 unanswered points to rally past Bayshore 33-20 Oct. 15.
Senior tailback Taryn Laws rushed for more than 150 yards and a pair of second-half touchdowns as the host Mustangs improved to 5-2 on the season. Quarterback Zack Larson connected with Harrison Skokos and Seth Browning for the Mustangs’ two other touchdowns.
Lakewood returns to district action at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 22, at Charlotte.
