The Lakewood Ranch High boys golf team shot a combined 5-under par 279 to win the 23-team Vinoy Classic Oct. 11 in St. Petersburg.
Ramsey Touchberry shot 67 to win the event in a two-hole playoff. Danny Walker shot a 2-under par 69 to finish third individually. Ben Boulch shot 71 for fourth place followed by Luke Miller (72, seventh place) and Spence Schultz (74).
The Mustangs return to action today in the Manatee County Championship.
