Professional Golf Tip of the Week: Don't keep that left arm straight
Too many people are trying to keep their left arm straight at the top of their backswing, and the only thing they are creating is tension. A degree of play and softness in the left arm promotes a fuller backswing and better rhythm. The only place you would want to have your left arm straight is at impact. So let that left arm bend a bit and and reap the rewards of less tension, a freer swing, more clubhead speed and longer shots.
