The East Manatee Bulldogs Tiney Mite, Mitey Mite and Pee Wee teams all earned victories over the Palmetto Trojans Sept. 22.
The Tiney Mite team defeated Palmetto 24-0.
Quarterback Grant Stetson and running backs Willie Miller, Taivon Derisma and Isaac Ashley accounted for the Bulldogs’ four touchdowns. Vincent Hutchinson, Elijah Kelly, Aaron Martin, Josiah Minton, Jack Muller and Jake Wyatt led the way defensively.
The Bulldogs Mitey Mite squad remained undefeated with a 13-0 victory over the Trojans. With the win, the Bulldogs won their division.
Ethan Bement scored both of East Manatee’s touchdowns. Carson Goda, Justin Shofter and Patrick O’Keefe held the Trojans to less than 50 yards of offense; and Luke Labriola recovered a fumble late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
The Bulldogs Pee Wee team defeated the Trojans 9-6.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
