The East Manatee Bulldogs Mitey Mite team defeated the Manatee Mustangs 25-19 to remain undefeated.
Ethan Bement finished with three touchdowns and Josiah Lozada added a touchdown to lead the way for East Manatee.
The Bulldogs have outscored their opponents 123-65 and will return to action Sept. 22 when they face rival Palmetto for the division title.
The Bulldogs Tiny Mite’s fell to the Manatee Mustangs 12-6. Tavion Derisma scored the Bulldogs’ lone touchdown of the afternoon with help from offensive linemen Joseph Hills, Will MacKinnon, Dustin Shields, Tucker Hickman, Joseph Hannaseck, Brock McCue and Mason Wright.
The Bulldogs’ Junior Midget squad suffered its first loss of the season, falling to the Manatee Mustangs 34-8.
Cody Staton connected with Niklas Traylor for a 52-yard touchdown for the Bulldogs’ lone score of the game.
Noah Ben-ghuzzi and Matthew Strauss led the way defensively.
The Bulldogs (3-1) return to action Sept. 29 when they travel to face the Carrolwood Hurricanes.
