Stoneybrook Stableford Sunday Golf season set to tee off
Date: September 13, 2012
by: Jen Blanco | Sports Editor
Stoneybrook will begin its second Stableford Sunday Golf season at 8 .m. Sept. 16.
The event will be held the third Sunday of each month through March, and will lead into the second annual Heritage Harbour Cup (April 24-25), which pits 14 Stableford players plus two golf professionals against players from River Strand. To qualify for the Cup, Stoneybrook players must play at least two of the seven monthly Sundays.
During the Stableford Sunday Golf season, players will be divided into white and gold flights with four players competing for each team. Those teams who accumulate the most Stableford points in each flight will be named the winners. Prizes also will be awarded for individual low gross and low net winners.
The top 12 players at the end of the season will automatically qualify for Cup play.
Stoneybrook homeowners and club members are eligible to sign up. Renters and guests are welcome, but won’t be able to qualify for the Cup play.
For more information or to sign up, contact Lou Brodersen at 746-4693 or loubrodersen2@gmail.com or Stoneybrook golf professional Todd Pyle at 746-2696.
