The Lakewood Ranch High boys golf team improved to 4-0 with victories over Bradenton Christian, Sarasota Christian and Braden River Sept. 5 at Rosedale Golf & Country Club.
The Mustangs finished 12 shots ahead of the Panthers, 25 shots ahead of the Blazers and 26 shots ahead of the Pirates.
Lakewood’s Spence Schultz shot a 1-under 35 to earn medalist honors for the second consecutive week. Charlie Sun and Kelly Sun shot 36 and 38, respectively, and Luke Miller added a 39.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
