Dave Sessions, David Denicoff, Fernando Pires and Matt Fuiks shot 54 to win the Men’s Lakewood Ranch three-ball event on Cypress Links Aug. 15. Hale Campbell, Jim Lapides, Mike Dennett and Vito Melfi shot 62 for second place and Rick Shaw, Jeff Nutson, Bob Simes and Ted Cook shot 73 for third place.
The team of Mike Mayer and Jim Tuohey finished +9 to win the two-man quota MGA event Aug. 12. Jim Long and Ed Heckler finished +8 for second place.

Dancing group to host fundraiser
Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
