Performance Lacrosse, a local lacrosse organization, recently finished its summer league season with the annual Manasota Summer Lacrosse Shootout, Green vs. Gray Game Aug. 12 at Greenbrook Adventure Park in Lakewood Ranch.
The Manasota Summer Lacrosse League offers the community a fun-filled summer lacrosse league for boys and girls of all ages. The annual shootout pits local lacrosse coaches from the Lakewood Ranch Lightning Lacrosse Club, The Out-of-Door Academy, Cardinal Mooney High School and the Sarasota Military Academy, among others, against the players they coach during the regular season.
Once again, the Gray team prevailed, securing bragging rights for the coaches while also allowing them to keep the coveted Founders Cup in their possession until next summer. For more information on Performance Lacrosse visit its Web site at www.performanceLAX.com.
