Lakewood Ranch High alum and outfielder Aaron Ball recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Mars Hill College in North Carolina. The Division II program is a member of the South Atlantic Conference.
Ball captured the attention of Mars Hill assistant coach Aaron Rembert during the Mustangs’ 6-2 victory over Cardinal Mooney April 16. Rembert contacted Ball about playing for the Lions and Ball formally made his decision during a recent visit to the college. Ball plans to pursue a degree in sports medicine.
