The Out-of-Door Academy girls tennis team improved to 6-0 with wins over Clearwater Central Catholic and Sarasota.
On March 4, the Lady Thunder beat Clearwater Central Catholic 5-2. Maria Ross, M’Balia Bangoura, Alana Sherman, Savannah Sleight and Cheyenne Kerekes all recorded singles victories for ODA.
On March 5, ODA beat Sarasota 6-1. Ross, Sleight, Morgan Woods and Chloe Ruppert all recorded singles victories. Bangoura and Sherman were victorious at No. 1 doubles, and Caroline Whitten and Charlotte Dixon were victorious at No. 2 doubles.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
