Lakewood Ranch High School will host free basketball clinics for students in fourth through seventh grade, beginning March 19.
Clinics will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, in the Lakewood Ranch gym through the remainder of the school year. Players will have the opportunity to hone their skills while focusing on fundamentals, skills, drills and competitive play.

Dancing group to host fundraiser
Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
