Braden River High head football coach Ed Volz from his position this afternoon.
Volz, who led the Pirates to the Class 3A-Region 3 semifinals, will assume the head coaching position at Sarasota High effective at the end of the semester.
"We appreciate the job he's done here," Braden River Athletic Director Bob Bowling said. "He's gone through some pretty tough times here, and we appreciate all that he's done."
