+ Coats for kids
Knights of Columbus Councils are helping children in need by providing coats to children in their communities through the order’s Coats for Kids program.
Members of Council 13341, from Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, recently donated 48 coats to Stillpoint House of Prayer and 48 coats to Sister Maria Gema for the youth at St. Michael’s Church, in Wauchula.
“The look on the children’s faces, as well as the parents’ faces, is priceless because they are so appreciative,” said Andy Velichko, Council 13341’s grand knight. “This could be the first new piece of clothing they have ever received, and the feeling is fantastic.”
