Smells of oil and wax wafted through the air as Chabad Hebrew School held its Chanukah Candle Crafting Workshop at the Chabad Jewish Center in Lakewood Ranch Dec. 5.

Students participated in an interactive olive oil factory demonstration, which taught the children about the Chanukah miracle of oil as well as how olive oil is made.

Students also made beeswax candles as well as regular wax candles while learning about the candle-making process.
