Members of The Blah-Blah Sisterhood gathered Dec. 4 at the home of Tami Uphaus with empty shoeboxes and goodies in hand.
The ladies wrapped each shoebox and stuffed it with items such as candy, warm socks, books, candles and more.
“This is the first year we have done this, but we enjoyed it so much, we are going to do something every year for the less fortunate,” member Becky Ivko said.
The shoeboxes will be delivered to needy seniors through Meals On Wheels.
