The Mayors’ Feed the Hungry program will be collecting non-perishable food donations Nov. 15 and Nov. 16, to feed hungry families this Thanksgiving. The event culminates at 5 p.m. Nov. 16, at Ed Smith Stadium, where the food will be sorted and distributed to food pantries free of charge throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Food to be donated can be taken to collection boxes at the the Baltimore Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium, all Coldwell Banker offices in Sarasota and Manatee counties, city halls or police stations and any participating school in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
