Get your costumes ready for the Lakewood Ranch BOO Fest Friday, Oct. 26, and the Boo Run 5k Run/Walk Saturday, Oct. 27, on Lakewood Ranch Main Street.
The Boo Fest will feature a costume parade for children of all ages, as well as Halloween treats, a haunted house, face painting, a dunk tank, pumpkin patch and scarecrow contest. Festivities run from 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday’s Boo Run is a family-oriented race featuring a costume contest, charity raffle and half-mile Boo Dash. Awards will be given for best couple, best hero and best villain. The race begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $30.
