Grant Schrantz, a senior at Cardinal Mooney High School, recently had three of his poems published in literary magazine The Pepper Tree.
Schrantz’s poems appeared in the May-June and August-September editions.
Schrantz is a member of Cardinal Mooney’s Key Club and the Digital Media Club and worked at the Habitat for Humanity store during his sophomore year. He also plays guitar.
“I started writing poetry about a year ago when my band broke up,” he said. “I still wanted to write, but I wanted to try another form besides lyrics.”
