Golfers at The Meadows Country Club are doing their part to help troops based at Camp Victory in Iraq. The East County club is collecting golf balls to be sent to Iraq. So far, the club has sent four 25-pound boxes to troops.
Anyone wishing to donate can do so through The Meadows or by sending tightly packed golf balls of any condition — 25-pound limit — to David Haddad, 2010 W. Parkside Lane No. 110, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
