Students and staff at Braden River High School are stepping up to restock the shelves at The Food Bank of Manatee.
The school is hosting a food drive through Sept. 21. The first-period class that donates the most food gets a breakfast party. There also is a “Kiss the Pig” competition, in which students donate money for a Braden River teacher or administrator to kiss a pig.
Students who bring five canned food items to the football game Sept. 21 will get free entry into the game.
