Neal Communities will hold its second Neal Communities Golf Challenge, a four-person golf scramble beginning with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., Sept. 25, at University Park Country Club, 7671 The Park Blvd.
This four-person scramble is limited to the first 100 players. Cost is $100 and includes 18 holes of golf and a buffet dinner. All proceeds will benefit B.D. Gullett Elementary School.
Last year, the challenge raised $22,000. Those funds were used for technology, curriculum and classroom resources. Every teacher received $200 to purchase items such as books, educational games, art supplies and musical instruments.
