Cardinal Mooney High School juniors Lauren Ditaranto and Megan Runge recently returned from a three-week creative writing course at Columbia University in New York.
The girls were accepted into the three-week writing program after submitting two letters of recommendation, transcripts and a 500-word essay. In addition to the coursework, the students visited tourist spots and museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim.
