Lakewood Ranch-Sarasota Lodge No. 2855 raised approximately $3,500 for K9sforVeterans.org during a special fundraising event Aug. 12, at the club’s lodge.

K9sforVeterans.org trains dogs to be companions to veterans who have invisible disorders such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and post-traumatic stress disorder. The amount raised was the single-largest donation the organization had received.
