Braden River Elementary student Olivia Leckie, 9, and some friends armed themselves with signs and homemade T-shirts and sno-cones and cookies for sale on Olivia’s street in Riverwalk Ridge on Aug. 1.
Olivia’s sister, Tali, and a friend also set up a ‘tropical’ punch stand.
Olivia was raising money in honor of her best friend from Australia, who died three weeks ago from a brain tumor.
Olivia and her crew raised nearly $20 for All Children’s Hospital.
