Lakewood Ranch residents Alan Silverglat and Louis Siegel have been named to the Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Housing Council Board of Trustees.
Silverglat, a former accountant, currently serves as chairman of the Florida Gulf Coast Board and is a member of the national board of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Siegel, a retired physician, also holds a degree in electrical engineering and from 1988 to 1992 was the medical director of the Beechwood Nursing Home in Rochester, N.Y.
Other new appointees include Joseph Paul Bornstein, Eugene Schiller and Louis Siegel.
The board sponsors Kobernick Anchin, a non-profit retirement community in Sarasota that offers a full continuum of care.
