Members of Daisy Troop 888 from Tara Elementary stepped up their role in Girl Scouts, as they made the leap from Daisies to Brownies during a special ceremony last month at the Peridia Golf and Country Club.
The girls originally planned to cross the bridge joining the golf course with the clubhouse in a symbolic bridging ceremony, but rain forced them inside. There, the girls kept their spirits high, using a small rug in place of the bridge to complete the ceremony.
