In conjunction with our annual Fourth of July special section, The Observer Group again is hosting a photo contest for our readers.

This year’s theme is “Slice of Americana,” so go through those albums and pick out the photo you think best represents America visually.

Then, visit the Slice of Americana Contest Page and upload your photo by June 20.

Winners will be announced July 1 on YourObserver.com and will be featured in the “Slice of Americana” edition, which will be inserted into all three Observers — Longboat, East County and Sarasota.
