Jason’s Deli of Southwest Florida owner and operator Diana Willis gave a $1,750 check to Holly and Patrick Wright, founders of the Payton Wright Foundation, a local non-profit dedicated to raising awareness of and assisting families affected by pediatric brain cancer.
The May 23 donation came as a result of a complimentary drink card and match of customer donations given to the cause by Jason’s Deli customers at the restaurant’s Sarasota location, 5231 University Parkway.
“The tireless fight the Wright family gives to this important cause, pediatric brain cancer, is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming,” Willis said. “We’re proud to support this organization and those who benefit from the Wrights’ work.”
