Congratulations to Lakewood Ranch High School student Sydney Yoder, who is one of 10 local students to receive a scholarship from the Peace River Electric Cooperative's charitable foundation, Operation Round Up.
Sydney has received a one-time $1,500 scholarship.
Operation Round Up is giving out $47,500 in the form of renewable four year and non-renewable one-year scholarships. Recipients are students in Hillsborough, Manatee, Osceola, Polk and Sarasota counties.
