Grout, tiles and glue were all over the place as the ladies of The Jewish Women’s Circle worked on their mosaic flowerpots during the Pretty Planters pre-Shavuot celebration May 3.
Shavuot is the Jewish holiday when the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai is celebrated. It is customarily fêted with dairy foods and flowers. Wine and cheese were served, and flower pots decorated at this Women’s Circle event to experience the Shavuot spirit.
