Dressed in a red and navy plaid shirt, jeans and a silver-and-gold belt buckle she won in a horseback-riding competition, Victoria Tanner leaned back in the principal’s desk as Braden River Middle School’s Principal for the Day April 23.
“It’s fun to be out of class,” she said. “I’ve been chilling out in the office.”
Tanner said she was especially excited about a special lunch her stepfather Jim Holz was bringing for her and her friends — pizza and drinks from Casa Di Pizza.
Tanner earned the chance to spend the day as Braden River Middle School’s Principal for the Day after selling 21 coupon packets — the most of any student on campus — during a recent school fundraiser.
