East County resident Clint Pierce and his son, Tommy, were enjoying a round at Cypress Links at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club when they came face-to-face with this fawn.

The young deer must be familiar with golfers. It came right up to the Pierces and even jumped into the cart with Clint.

“Tommy said he thought maybe it was the reincarnation of his grandpa, Donald Pierce, who was an amazing golfer,” says Clint. “You really had to be there to believe it.”
