Imagine School at Lakewood Ranch is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair now through March 1, and the public is invited to attend. Book fair hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the school, 10535 Portal Crossing.
As part of the festivities, Imagine hosted the Florida Blood Services bloodmobile, Mote Marine Aquarium and G.WIZ from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27, during the school’s official student-led conferences and open-house event.

More than 50 boys, ranging in age from fifth through ninth grade, hit the court for Cardinal Mooney High’s annual boys basketball camp June 18. The camp began June 17 and runs through June 20. Over the course of the four-day camp, participants learned the basic fundamentals that are essential to the game of basketball. Players focused on shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork, concepts of teamwork and defense while improving their overall basketball IQ.
