Members of the Art Association of Palm-Aire recently took a bus coach, for their annual Ruth Levin Scholarship Bus Trip, to visit the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers.
Named for the founder and 28-year member of the AAPA, the trip raises funds for a scholarship, which is awarded to a student at the Ringling College of Art and Design.
At the Alliance for Arts, AAPA members rotated through three studios, where they watched watercolorist Barbara Albin, mixed-media artist Leo Johnson and blacksmith Steve Kalb demonstrate their techniques.
