The Sea of Strengths Academy is collecting gently-used household items from Jan. 22 to Jan. 25, to be auctioned to raise money for teacher training.
The school, located at 7313 International Place, Suite 90, in the Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park, is for students with dyslexia, ADHD, speech-language disorders and other language-based learning disabilities.
A trailer will be parked at the school premises during the collection drive. Donors are asked to bring items between 3 and 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
For information, contact Principal John Hettler at jhettler@sosaschool.com or 538-6822, Ext. 102.
