Haile students dance under 'deep blue sea'

The cafeteria at Haile Middle School turned into an underwater wonderland Friday night during the school’s end-of-year-dance. Eighth-grade students at Haile danced the night away from 6:30-9 p.m., May 15 at the event, which was themed “Destiny Under the Deep Blue Sea.” Students also enjoyed spending time with friends and having their pictures taken.

Sprouts splash toward summer

Children at Sprouts Child Development Center at Harvest United Methodist Church donned their swimsuits May 13 during the center’s Water Day event. Children slid down an inflatable water slide, played other water related activities and learned about boating safety, wearing safety jackets and keeping the environment clean during a special presentation by Lt. Cmdr. Toni Borman of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and her helper, Capt. Snook.
