Manatee district will provide swine flu vaccinations

Freedom Elementary School students enjoyed all the glitz and glamor of Hollywood at their fall dance Oct. 2. Children came dressed as their favorite movie stars to boogie to dance hits in the cafetorium.

Dozens of Braden River High School packed into the gymnasium to watch their teachers battle it out during the school's Faculty Fight Night Sept. 30. The East Sidaz and the Bone Crushers went head-to-head in jousting, boxing and sumo wrestling matches before the night was capped off with the Main Event, featuring Assistant Principal Don French and history teacher Dan McLean squaring off in the boxing ring.

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
