The Manatee County School Board honored its partnerships with local businesses, community organizations and government entities with a special breakfast this morning.
The district presented the 19th Annual Business and Education Partnership Awards Breakfast at 7:30 a.m., Aug. 13, at Freedom Village, 6501 17th Ave. W., Bradenton.
“This is always a great event and it gives us a wonderful opportunity to thank businesses and organizations that make a valuable contribution to education in our community,” said Dawn Lengel, the director of community involvement for the district.
More than 300 entities partner will Manatee County schools to enrich the educational opportunities of students.
