Braden River Elementary School Teacher Sue Curry has been selected from more than 1,600 teachers nationwide to attend the 2009 Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy, July 19-24, at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ.
Started by PGA Golf great Phil Mickelson and his wife Amy in cooperation with ExxonMobil, the academy helps teachers engage young students in math and science in a way that will help them retain interest in those subjects through college and into their careers.
