East County families traveled back in time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ during Living Lord Lutheran Church’s A Night in Bethlehem Dec. 3. The event was an interactive Christmas experience designed to depict the city of Bethlehem 2,000 years ago.

Dancing group to host fundraiser
Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
