More than 100 first-graders from Oneco Elementary School piled into the Woodlands Village retirement home earlier this week for some special holiday cheer.
Children enjoyed cookies and juice, a visit with Santa, a magic show and clown and presents, among other festivities.
The event served as the year’s finale to the Woodlands partnership with first-grade classes at Oneco, which started in August when Woodlands residents purchased school supplies for all 110 children in first grade there.
