LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Town Hall employees favor four-day schedule
Date: May 5, 2010
by: Jean Stewart | IDA
Dear Editor:
Reports were written in your paper regarding coverage of the four-day workweek at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.
However, there was no mention of the positive comments made by employees. There were many statements regarding Town Hall being a friendly work place with excellent management offering an open-door policy to the employees.
The employees asked that the IDA board not change their schedule to a five-day workweek. Several employees have other commitments and other jobs on Friday to assist in their financial struggle. My thanks to all who are dedicated to serving us in keeping Lakewood Ranch a prestigious community.
It is important that Lakewood Ranch residents and citizens of Manatee County know that Lakewood Ranch is a great place to live and work.
