- I have to say that the front page article about the added neighborhoods becoming part of the "new" city of Lakewood Ranch had me going. I am in Palm Aire and the comment about benefiting from being near to LR and "it's time they give a little in return" was rather bold. I was thinking that this writer was really full of himself and his LR community. At first I was looking and looking for page 4 for the continuation of the article but could not find it. I even came to the online "Observer" and the same no continuation of the article labeled "Takeover". So, i just gave up and continued reading to rest of the newspaper. THEN I read page 4 and found out it was your April Fools joke for us all. Hey, you had me going and yes I laughed and yes very funny. I was also wondering on how in the world would an HOA come up with a program that would be called a F.U. program. Funny...keep it up.
