- Oh, my. Do you have any actual facts to back up "freedom for the individual is nowhere to be found in Barack Obama's philosophy"? Nowhere? Might the Europeans who read this newspaper take issue with your assertion that their countries are headed for bankruptcy? All of them? Perhaps your attitude that all things European are to be avoided might offend? They have nothing to offer that is superior? You would like to see the elimination of the Social Security and Medicare tax? (By the way that isn't a tax you are paying.) What health care plan would you propose for seniors? Self insurance? What source of income would you propose? Walmart greeter until death?

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
