The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance held its fifth annual golf tournament, Puttin’ on the Ritz, at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch April 26. The event, benefiting the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, featured 18 holes of golf, a buffet lunch and a raffle.

Lisa Potocar, a native of Upstate New York, won the grand prize in the Sarasota County Film & Entertainment Office’s 3rd annual TVME! contest. Potocar won for a television series pitch she wrote of an adventure/romance movie-of-the-week, Sweet Glory, based on a book she authored of the same name.
